COMMISSIONS
Why not have your very own Reyt Good Illustration hanging on your wall or created as a gift for family or friends?
Commissions can contain as many as 8 subjects or as little as one, whether they be favourite landmarks, people or buildings that best represent your favourite place; maybe you have a special memory from a city you travelled to or visited you want a permanent one of a kind reminder of.
All my commissions begin with a chat about content and layout followed by a sketch to help you visualise the finished piece.
FAQs
Q: What information do you need to start a commission?
A: As much as you can possibly give me! Feel free to be specific – this is your commission. If your idea is quite general, that’s ok too, but I can only work from the brief you give me so if you have very particular ideas about what you would like including, then please let me know from the outset. Have a think about whether you want a colour or black and white image, and if you want your finished print framing. If you need it for a particular date, then let me know that as well so I can ensure I have enough time to complete it.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: Prices start at £150 and differ depending on content. Please feel free to contact me via the form below if you’d like a more accurate quote for your commissioned piece.
Q: How long do you need to complete a commission?
A: This depends on how busy I am at any given time, but a good rule of thumb is to allow at least a month.
Q: Are edits included in my quoted price?
A: The commission process begins with a draft phase. This is where you communicate as much information as possible about what you would like including in your commission, including any specific layout ideas and/or colour schemes. From your brief, I will create a draft of your piece to make sure you are happy with it. Once I have started on the final piece, any edits would incur an additional charge so for this reason, I ask for as much information as possible in the initial stage so that I can produce something that’s just right for you. I’m always honoured to be asked to create bespoke work for you, and want you to love the finished product.
Q: What’s the best way to contact you with a commission request?
A: If you fill in the form at the bottom of this page I will get in touch for an initial discussion.
